♥ 1 large tin of baby clams with juice
♥ 1 small onion
♥ 2 cups cubed potatoes
♥ 1 1/4 tsp salt
♥ 2 cups boiling water
♥ 2 tbsp butter
♥ 2 tbsp flour
♥ Freshly ground pepper
♥ 1 cup milk
♥ 6 pieces of crunchy bacon, cooked
Fry out pork. Remove scraps and reserve for garnish. Saute the onion in bacon fat until translucent, add the potatoes, salt and boiling water.
Cover and simmer until potatoes are cooked approximately 12-14 minutes.
Make a cream sauce with butter, flour, pepper, milk and juice from clams. Add the clams to this, and when potatoes are done, combine the two mixtures.
Heat and serve with fresh baking soda biscuits.
