Five question Friday

1. Have you ever forgotten your child in a store or at school?

Unbelievably….I haven’t. But I did leave Colton sitting on the floor at a car swap meet once. He wanted me to buy him a 25 dollar Hotwheels. He was about 4. I of course said no, and he proceeded to have a hissy fit, in the middle of the floor. I walked away and left him there screaming. I walked around the corner, I could see him but he couldn’t see me. As soon as I was gone, he stopped. I walked back around the corner, he started again as soon as he saw me…around corner stopped.  It was like a tap. Totally amusing. He finally got bored of my little game and gave up. But it amused those around us for a good ten minutes!!

2. Where did you go on your very first date? (Like…first first, not first with your spouse or current significant other!)

Do you have any idea how long ago that was??? I don’t even know WHO it would have been with never mind where we went :)

3. What’s your “silly” fear? (We’re not talking water and heights.)

I absolutely HATE flying. I try to be brave, as I know that it is safer than driving (which I love doing) But the take off and landing absolutely kill me every time, no matter how hard I try to be a big girl :)

And I am terrified of Spiders…I know its ridiculous but  I am. I can pick up a snake or pretty much any other bug there is….not spiders, if I see one, unfortunately it is gonna die.

4. Confrontation: do you cause it, deal with is as it comes, or run far far away?

I am a head on girl. I try not to cause it, but if something is unfair or wrong, I will absolutely deal with it rather than run.

5. Wood floors or carpet?

I have wood floors all through my house upstairs…love them. I don’t mind carpet though, it hides the dog hair, as well as all the other nasty stuff…I know, I know…..
