Heartbroken and sad
that I couldn’t give you what you need
I wanted it to work
more than anything I have ever wanted
but you were stronger than me
and I couldn’t keep fighting
I am drained and tired
and now alone and sad
hurt that you’re gone
but knowing that it is the only solution
no other way
to make things right
to make it not hurt so much
everyday
heartbroken and sad
and missing you…

    as he love you so much too
    he brought you so much happiness
    and was so loyal too
    now he rests in peace
    with all the other special pets whichhave
    left us for heaven too.

  2. I know too well the heartbreak of losing a pet you love. I’m sorry you’ve had to go through it too. It’s awful. There’s just no other way to say it.

    Papa Joe here. I’m catching up on some back posts and see that you’ve been through quite a lot lately. As I head back through your words it sounds like you’re mourning the loss of both pets and people as well as lost loves.

    • Thank you Papa Joe…Your support means a lot :) The poems were all just uploaded, and I have written them over the years. The one about my Grandma is new, but she has been gone for a few years now. Not mourning past love…just working through some feelings as new stuff goes on :) It is all good, I have great love in my life and my family is amazing, all is good.
      I am so glad I have found a new family in my blogging friends…lucky me :)
