Cinderella and a Charlie Brown Christmas…

Well this is going to be short and sweet, I have had a crazy busy fabulous day and I am utterly exhausted!

The day started out positive, I was determined that I was going to get more Christmas shopping done, I just didn’t expect it was going to be for myself…

I got some stocking stuffers, but the rest of my shopping was a bust…

Until…

I went to meet my girl Diann for a coffee. While I was waiting for her to show, I went to my other friend Chris’ Consignment Store to see what was going on.

She has LOADS of amazing stuff in the store right now, I tried a few things on…mostly I am on a mission for boots.

Breaking up is hard to do…

This morning as I was puttering around the house, there was something I wasn’t really watching on tv, I don’t even know what it was, but they were talking about Demi filing for divorce from Ashton. We knew it was coming. Inevitably.

It got me thinking about breaking up.

I am good at it. I can rock it. So why does it never get any easier?

Why is it that people do things that are right out in left field after a breakup?

Everyone reacts in their own way, whether they are the breaker or the unsuspecting one.

But the truth of the matter is, in most cases, everyone involved knows that something is up. Whether you pull the toque down over your eyes and pretend to not see it coming or not.

Don’t lie.

Think back.

You can see it all clearly now can’t you?

I should have been a porn star…

But I chose to take the high road, and I am not.

Unfortunately for you.

I work in a garden centre and have the winters off…and I am therefore having a shortage of humorous or otherwise things to blog about.

I don’t do much funny on my own, well not that I am going to share.

I have been baking my ass off…well that actually might not be true, I have been baking and therefore eating, which probably isn’t doing my ass a bit of good.

Today I made Cinnamon Buns, from crescent rolls. Hot damn they were good. I have eaten six of them. They are small, but still.

Seniors Day…

I don’t know why I can’t get it straight.

You know, the day that all the stores give seniors a great deal? I try to avoid it at all costs. Weekly.

Now I don’t know if I am the one having a senior moment, or if it is just always seniors day here.

I was sure that as a rule it was Wednesday. I am also equally as sure that today is Tuesday.

I was nearly taken out three times by a senior today. No kidding.

The first incident was an old man driving his Lexus, he was nearly in my lane for about 2 blocks, driving that fine line between being in his lane and mine, and then he randomly and suddenly veered over directly in front of me. If I hadn’t been on alert already, he would have smoked my truck. He never even looked at all before he changed lanes.
